CitySprint NewsNew appointment at CitySprintJuly 2008
David Birch has joined CitySprint as an Area Sales Executive (ASE) for the Midlands region. He has considerable experience in field sales having worked, most recently, for Pitney Bowes. David said: “I have considerable experience in sales and saw the ASE role at CitySprint as a significant opportunity for me to further my career. CitySprint is a company of considerable size and structure, the MidlandsCentre where I am based, being one of the main ServiceCentres. However, it still maintains a local presence and is focused on providing services for companies in the Midlands; working hard to provide tailored, bespoke solutions where necessary. As a sales executive for the company I have a comprehensive portfolio from which to sell from, and also the back-up and support of the UK’s largest SameDay Courier company.” CitySprint’s ASEs are dynamic sales people employed to maximise business development opportunities for its network of 30+ ServiceCentres. Each ASE is responsible for all sales activities within a defined area and, as such, are highly motivated individuals who posses the professional acumen, drive and determination to deliver results. The ASEs report into one of a team of Regional Managers and also work closely with the National Sales team in order to maximise new business opportunities. David continued: “Solutions such as CourierLocator gives CitySprint considerable advantage over its competitors. It is refreshing to work for a business which is so flexible. We develop services based on the customer’s needs, and we are not rigid in what or how we provide those services. This makes for a very refreshing conversation with potential customers.” At a time when many companies are choosing to streamline their operations CitySprint remains committed to its regional network, the benefits it provides it customers and the positive contribution it makes to the local economy. |
